50 Episodes Later: What Staying Has Taught Me About Consistency in Business

Reaching 50 episodes with listeners in 50 countries feels significant. What makes it even more meaningful is knowing how close I came to stopping at episode ten.
From the outside, consistency in business can look straightforward. In reality, it often feels like choosing to stay, again and again, before there is clear evidence that anything is working.
The Question That Changes Perspective
There is a question that has stayed with me.
What if the thing you are thinking about walking away from is already working, just not in a way you can easily see yet?
What if it is reaching people, building something, creating impact quietly in the background?
It can be difficult to trust progress when it is not visible.
The Bamboo Season No One Sees
Growth does not always present itself in obvious ways.
There are seasons where nothing seems to be happening. No traction, no feedback, no clear signs of movement.
And yet, something may still be forming underneath. Structure. Capacity. Depth.
That unseen work can be what allows everything else to come together later.

You Start With What You Know
This podcast did not begin as what it is today. It has evolved over time.
That tends to be how things grow. You start with what you know, and clarity develops through the process.
It can feel uncomfortable when the outside does not yet reflect what is shifting internally. That space, though, is often part of the work.
The Reality Behind the Episodes
There have been weeks where I sat down to record and felt unprepared. Episodes that never made it out into the world. Moments where I wondered whether anything I was saying was landing.
There were also mistakes. Recordings lost, including guest interviews that took time and coordination to arrange.
Going back and asking for that time again was not easy. Some people did not return. Some did, with generosity that I still appreciate.
Those moments shaped how I show up now.
The Cost of Building Something Real
Consistency in business can ask more of you than expected.
Time, energy, and resources often get invested long before there is anything to point to as proof.
There is also the experience of being seen. Sharing your voice, your perspective, and your work in a way that feels exposed at times.
If something feels costly, it may not always mean something is off. Sometimes it simply reflects that what you are building matters to you.
Quitting Too Soon vs Growing Through It
There can be a fine line between knowing when something is complete and being in the middle of growth.
If the desire is still there, but things feel heavier or less certain, it may be worth noticing that before making a decision.
Looking back and seeing how much has shifted since the beginning can sometimes offer a different kind of confirmation.
Growth Will Change What You Build
This podcast has changed as I have changed.
The message has become clearer. The direction more defined. The audience more aligned.
That shift has not felt like leaving something behind, but more like moving closer to what this was always becoming.

What the Next Chapter Looks Like
The next phase of this podcast is opening up to more voices and perspectives.
Different experiences, different industries, but conversations that continue to support what this space has always been about.
Clarity. Courage. And building a business that supports your life.
If You’re Thinking About Walking Away
If you are in a place where you are questioning whether to continue, it might be worth pausing with that for a moment.
Not everything that feels difficult is a signal to stop.
Sometimes it is simply the part of the process where things are still taking shape in ways that are not yet visible.
This Is the Work Behind the Work
This is the kind of space that exists inside Business Therapy™.
A place to think more clearly, reflect honestly, and make decisions that feel aligned with what you are building.
If things feel unclear, it may not always be about doing more. Sometimes it is about seeing what is already there in a different way.
Stay Long Enough to See It Work
Consistency in business is not always loud or exciting.
Often, it is quiet, steady, and uncertain.
And sometimes, staying just a little longer creates the space for things to come together in a way that was not obvious before.
If you are still in it, there is a chance that more is happening than it currently feels like.
Build What Matters
